🌊 Green Bay Roots, State Farm Experience Since 1998

At the Scott Folsom State Farm Agency in Green Bay, WI, my team and I help individuals, families, and business owners navigate insurance questions through different stages of life. I opened my State Farm agency in Green Bay in 1998, and today our team brings more than 50 years of combined insurance experience to conversations about Auto Insurance, Home Insurance, Life Insurance, and other available coverage options.

Over the years, we have worked with customers as households grow, vehicles change, people move, businesses evolve, and new insurance questions arise. We also regularly assist individuals and families who are relocating to Wisconsin or navigating an out of state insurance transfer.

Whether Green Bay has been home for years or you are just getting settled in Northeast Wisconsin, call, text, or visit us during business hours to start a conversation.

🤝 Meet Scott: Green Bay Has Been Home Since 1998

I have called Green Bay home since 1998. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to work with customers as their vehicles, homes, families, businesses, and insurance needs change.

I am a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire with a Bachelor of Science degree. Outside work, family is an important part of my life. I enjoy spending time with my wife and our two daughters, along with traveling, fishing, and golfing.

A few things to know about our team:

  • Serving Green Bay Since 1998 – I have lived and worked in Green Bay for more than 25 years.

  • 50 Plus Years of Team Experience – Together, our team brings decades of combined insurance experience to customer conversations.

  • Relocation Experience – We regularly assist individuals and families moving to Wisconsin and navigating out of state insurance transfers.

  • Wisconsin and Minnesota Service – I am licensed to serve customers in both states.

We appreciate getting to know the people we work with, answering questions, and explaining available State Farm insurance options in straightforward terms.

❤️ September Check In: Has Life Changed Since Last Year?

September is Life Insurance Awareness Month, making it a timely opportunity to think about how your household and responsibilities may have changed.

When should I review Life Insurance? Marriage, welcoming a child, purchasing a home, changing careers, starting or growing a business, or taking on different family responsibilities may bring new questions about Life Insurance.

What if I am exploring Life Insurance for the first time? You do not need to begin the conversation knowing which option you want. We can start by learning about your household, responsibilities, and questions, then explain available Life Insurance options in straightforward terms.

If Life Insurance has been on your mind, call, text, or visit us during business hours to start the conversation.

🍁 Fall Along the Fox: What Has Changed at Home?

September in Green Bay brings changing leaves, cooler nights, and the reminder that Wisconsin winter is on its way. Before colder weather settles in, fall can be a useful time to think about changes to your property or living situation.

What belongs on a Wisconsin fall home checklist? Consider clearing gutters and drainage areas, testing smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, checking exterior lighting, inspecting weather stripping, and arranging appropriate heating system maintenance.

When should I revisit my Home Insurance information? Purchasing a home, completing a significant renovation, replacing a roof, adding living space, or making another substantial property change may be reasons to check the information associated with your Home Insurance.

What about a rental or condo? Moving to a new apartment, changing roommates, making a significant purchase, or settling into a condo may bring questions about Renters Insurance or Condo Insurance.

🍂 Cooler Mornings, Changing Routines: Has Your Driving Changed Too?

Fall in Green Bay brings cooler mornings, earlier sunsets, changing school schedules, and the approach of Wisconsin winter driving. It is also a useful time to consider whether your driving situation has changed since last season.

When should I review my Auto Insurance information? Purchasing a vehicle, adding a household driver, beginning a different commute, or changing how a vehicle is used may be reasons to revisit your Auto Insurance information.

As Wisconsin heads toward colder weather, fall is also a practical time for vehicle preparation. Consider checking tires, lights, wipers, fluids, and vehicle emergency supplies as road and weather conditions begin to change.

❄️ Before the Snow Flies: Get Your Sled Season Ready

In Northeast Wisconsin, fall does not last forever. As temperatures begin to drop, snowmobile owners may already be thinking about the riding season ahead. Before the first ride, this can be a useful time to consider what has changed since last winter.

When should I review Snowmobile Insurance? Purchasing a snowmobile, adding another sled, or changing how you use your snowmobile may bring new insurance questions. We can discuss Snowmobile Insurance and available options with you.

Preseason preparation is important too. Consider checking your lights, brakes, track, skis, fluids, and other equipment before heading out this winter. It is also a good time to confirm registration information and prepare for changing Wisconsin trail and weather conditions.

Planning to get back on the trails this winter? Call, text, or visit us during business hours to start a Snowmobile Insurance conversation.

📍 Around the Bay and Beyond: Local Service and Relocation

What areas do we serve? From Green Bay, we work with Good Neighbors throughout Brown County and Northeast Wisconsin, including De Pere, Howard, Suamico, Ashwaubenon, Bellevue, Hobart, Pulaski, and Allouez, along with other Wisconsin communities.

Moving to Wisconsin from another state? A relocation often means changing more than your address. Your residence, vehicles, commute, household, and insurance information may all look different after a move.

Can we help with an out-of-state transfer to Wisconsin? Yes. We regularly assist individuals and families relocating to Green Bay, Brown County, and other Wisconsin communities. Depending on what is changing, we can discuss Auto Insurance, Home Insurance, or Renters Insurance and help you understand the insurance steps associated with your move.
